devlog #2 - The whole core


I put together a lot today. Basically implemented all of the core features: rolling ball, sticky objects, increasing volume/object absorption, bouncy surfaces, moving beachgoer.

I originally had plans to make the camera view orthographic, but after bouncing on a surface, I found it way easier in perspective view. I was working on a script to adjust the orthographic zoom size smoothly, but I’m glad that I didn’t finish the script before I decided to make this change haha.

Since I finished the prototyping stage earlier than I thought, I’ll start making more beautiful artwork tomorrow to add to the game. ;) Will also start working on implementing the dialogue/UI system.
